Tortas, my comfort food of choice when living in Los Angeles, is a farewell music project dedicated to the 1 and a half years I spent living in LA (2019-2020) after graduating from college in New York in 2019. During these magical and heavy 18 months, my partner Elizabeth and I adopted her family's 15 year old sassy tabby cat Cooper. Sadly Cooper passed away at the end of 2020. There is so much to be said for our hilarious furry hero, and I hope that the variety of energy this album contains can express the deep amount of appreciation I will always have for her.

In loving memory of Cooper the Pooper, our wonderful cat <3.
